An Introduction to Take Shape For Life
Our journey for health started when we discovered Take Shape for Life in 2007. Through the program, we lost over 100 lbs each and rediscovered a whole new life! For the first time in several years, we were able to play with our kids and grandkids without feeling short of breath. I started going on bike rides, which quickly became a favorite pastime. I also rediscovered the joy in hiking! For Joyce, the weight loss had dramatic effects with her Multiple Sclerosis. Overall, the benefits of losing weight has been endless. It has completely changed our quality of life!
With the Medifast 5 & 1 Meal Plan, you can lose weight safely and quickly using the medically formulated, nutritious, and delicious meal replacements by Medifast. You’ll choose five Medifast Meals each day, one every 2-3 hours. Because you eat frequently, you’re never hungry, and your metabolism stays revved. Many Medifast Meals are portable, so you can fit this diet into even the busiest lifestyle. You also get one Lean and Green Meal to eat at the time that works best for you. For the Lean, you’ll have 5-7 ounces of lean protein; the Green is three servings of low-glycemic vegetables. Depending on your source of protein, you’ll get some healthy fat, too, and that will help keep you full and satisfied.

Welcome to Riverside Cooking Class of Boise!
We are passionate about health and have a strong desire to serve the community. We believe healthy habits are easier to create when we understand their value, so we created the Riverside Cooking Class to educate and inspire healthier cooking. It originally started with only a dozen participants, but the idea of a free monthly class was a huge hit! Since then, we have grown to over 50 attendees for each class, and now have two locations!
Our classes are held at the Natural Grocers (1195 N Milwaukee, Boise) and Spurwing Country Club (6800 N Spurwing, Meridian).
